This information page is for you who have been sentenced for driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication according to Danish Traffic Laws.
Enroll in Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Course
If you have been banned from driving, and your driving license is less than 3 years old, you must participate in an Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Course (ANT-course). You must contact your region of choice and you can be signed up for the course as soon as there is a one available.
If you have a suspended sentence you must participate in an Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Course. You must contact your region of choice and you can be signed up for the course as soon as there is a one available.
If you have been banned from driving for 3 years or more you must participate in an Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Course. You must contact your region of choice and you can start the course when there is 3 months left of your sentence.
About the course
The course takes place on four dates on specified meeting points and lasts 3 hours. The fee is DKR 3200.
Bring a translator if necessary
The course is in Danish and a condition for passing the course is to understand the content and to participate in the discussions that may take place.
In order to fulfill the conditions of the course, you must bring a person, who is able to translate for you to in all four lessons.
This person must be over 18 years old and be able to understand and translate Danish into your own language in a satisfactory manner. Any fee involved in this service must be settled between you and the translator. If you fail to bring a person with you, you cannot enter the course and will have to start over again.
